The Campus Theatre LTD, in partnership with Bucknell University, preserves, promotes, and operates the historic Campus Theatre for the enrichment of the greater Lewisburg community.

Working as a team, Bucknell University and the Campus Theatre LTD will develop the Campus Theatre as a vibrant cultural asset with value for the entire community.
Bucknell will take the financial leadership role for the stewardship and preservation of the architectural integrity and authenticity of the theatre building, while the Campus Theatre LTD, an independent entity and not-for-profit organization, will continue management leadership through its board, including vision, programming and staffing for the theatre.
Ensuring a strong membership base, regular community financial contributions, grants, and a well-run, fully staffed theatre that covers its costs of operations, the Campus Theatre LTD will provide financial stability and sustainability to the theatre.
To this end, the Campus Theatre LTD will – present programming that includes the screening of art, classic and modern films, live performance, and enhanced film programming experiences, all steeped in the rich atmosphere of the authentic Art Deco, single-screen American theatre experience.
Theatre volunteers and staff will work together to keep the theatre, community, downtown and Bucknell partnerships strong.
The Campus Theatre is committed to presenting diverse film programming with a healthy balance of popular, fine art and independent films that are culturally relevant and bring understanding to contemporary concerns.
The Campus Theatre is dedicated to providing a consistent, exemplary movie going experience for customers, steeped in the rich atmosphere of the authentic Art Deco, single-screen American theatre.
The Campus Theatre strives to expand our audience’s perspectives with regard to the film content that we present, through education and enhanced film programming.
