Summary

Joe Gardner is a middle school teacher with a love for jazz music. After a successful audition at the Half Note Club, he suddenly gets into an accident that separates his soul from his body and is transported to the You Seminar, a center in which souls develop and gain passions before being transported to a newborn child. Joe must enlist help from the other souls-in-training, like 22, a soul who has spent eons in the You Seminar, in order to get back to Earth.

    Presented by the Bucknell Juneteenth Committee - Join us this Juneteenth for a special screening of Soul — a heartfelt animated film that celebrates purpose, passion, music, and the beauty of living fully. As we honor Black freedom, culture, and creativity, Soul offers a moving story rooted in jazz, self-discovery, and joy. Bring your family and friends for an evening of community, laughter, and inspiration. There will be book giveaways prior to the start of the film (while supplies last). Admission is free and open to all! The first 100 people will get a free bag of popcorn. There will be a donation collection for the Union-Snyder Community Action Agency, desired donations include non-expired, non-perishable cans and ingredients.
